Synopsis
A mimeographed flyer with a cartoon of a uniformed drummer beating a big drum labeled 'Join Now,' announcing 'Clean Up Week, April 21-26th.' It says the civic organizations, with help from the Boy Scouts, were again sponsoring the annual cleanup campaign from Monday, April 21 through Friday the 25th, and asks every family to cooperate. Residents were to put rubbish in boxes or sacks near the street for the Boy Scouts to collect on Friday morning, April 25th. The flyer urges people not to spoil the town's 'beautiful natural setting' by dumping rubbish along streets and highways leading into town, and ends 'Lets Clean Up And Keep It Clean.' It reflects civic sanitation efforts in Wedowee alongside the town's public health and water-system work.

Reading notes
No year is given and the flyer does not name the town. April 21 fell on a Monday in 1930, 1941, 1947, 1952 and 1958, so the flyer is likely from one of those years.
