How Wedowee got its water
In 1933 Wedowee, the county seat of Randolph County, had about 500 people and no public water supply. Homes drew water from wells and springs. These 28 items (176 scanned pages) follow the town's three-year effort to win New Deal funding, sign up its first customers, and build and keep up a waterworks.
